On this promontory where the Belloc chapel is located, you will find the most beautiful lookout of Cerdanya: views of the Sierra del Cadi to the Cambre d'Aze and the Carol Valley to Font-Romeu.

In the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Catalan Pyrenees, and located at an altitude of 1,400 m, on the southern slope of the Carlit massif, Dorres is a mountain village where time has preserved all the charm and authenticity of a 19th century Cerdan village.
Laundries, cerdane houses, water troughs, work to shoe animals, churches and Granite House, Dorres has a rich and diversified heritage, which has given it its nickname of "village of stonemasons". To discover to relax: its sulphurous hot water baths, accessible all year round.

    Departure: In front Dorres's church.

The Bell-Lloc chapel (in Catalan "beautiful place"): Built in the 13th century, it was the church of a small monastery that would live until the French Revolution. His Romanesque Black Virgin, (now in the church of Dorres) was the object of great devotion. With each drought, the parishes of the region went in procession to implore the power of the Queen of Cerdanya. Still celebrated on September 8 for, there is also a procession today for St. John's Day in June.
