On this shaded route, which is particularly pleasant in summer, you can discover the enclave of Llivia, with a 360° view of the whole area of Cerdanya, including the Chapel of the Belloc, the Puigmal Massif and the Molina.

The border and the Treaty of the Pyrenees: Cerdanya, since the Treaty of the Pyrenees signed in 1659, is geographically divided between France and Spain: 33 villages of Cerdanya and Capcir return to France. However, in 1660, the Spanish considered Llívia as a city and not as a village. Lliva will stay in Spain in the heart of French territory. The border is dotted with 602 numbered markers from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean. You will have the opportunity to see some of them throughout your hikes, from the lower Cerdanya to the peaks of the Puigmal massif.

THAT' S WORTH A VISIT!

Church of Saint-Martin d'Ur: It dates from the 11th century and is composed of a single nave and three apses in a trefoil plan, witnesses of the first part of Romanesque art. It is also possible to see the 15th century Saint Martin's altar, which was modernized in the 18th century, as well as a splendid and rare granite baptismal tank which could date back to the 8th century.
